Working in Melrose Highlands, Massachusetts, The Shepard Manufacturing Co. was a large manufacturer of sterling souvenir spoons and enamel gold and silver jewelry. |

This mark was used by George W. Shiebler & Co. of New York City. They purchased the dies of Albert Coles, John Polhamus, Henry Hebbard and others in addition to designing their own patterns. Today, Shiebler silver is in very high demand especially their medallion work.

Sternau & Co. is listed in the 1915 edition of Trademarks of the Jewelry and Kindred Trades as being a manufacturer of silver plated goods with locations at 305 Broadway in New York City and at John & Gold Streets in Brooklyn. In 1897, Sternau & Co. published a promotional catalogue called "The Chafing Dish" with illustrations of several chafing dishes and accessories. |

The Stieff Company was founded in 1892 in Baltimore, Maryland by Charles Stieff. According to a 1937 Stieff catalogue, they were "Makers of sterling silver and 14-K gold." The Schofield Co. was purchased in 1967 and in 1979 The Stieff Company purchased Samuel Kirk & Son, Inc. and changed the firm's name to The Kirk Stieff Company. Today, Stieff is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lenox, Inc.

| Arthur J. Stone worked in Gardner, Massachusetts from 1901 until 1937 when he sold the business to Henry Heywood and the firm name was changed to Stone Associates. Starting in 1906, Stone included the initial of the craftsmen assisting him. The "T" stands for Herbert A. Taylor. A lowercase "h" in a shield was used with the Stone mark from 1937 until 1958 when the company was disbanded and Ernest Lehtonen, a Stone Associates craftsman purchased the mark and used an upper case "L" in place of the "h".
