These are just some of many different marks for Oneida, Ltd., also known as Oneida Silversmiths. Formed in 1848 as an intentional community on the shores of Oneida Creek in upstate New York. The company is currently located in Sherrill, New York. Some of Oneida's silver plate lines included Community, Nobility, Niagara, Tudor, Heirloom and Carlton.

Clemens Oskamp worked as a silversmith in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked in both coin and sterling. The top mark is often times found with the bottom mark, but not always. The top mark has also been seen on gold jewelry. The bottom mark is also found as a retailer's mark. Later became Oskamp-Nolting Jewelers.
