Easterling Co. The Easterling Company was founded in Chicago, Illinois and Manufactured six different sterling flatware patterns. Their patterns were produced by the Gorham Company.

M. Eisenstadt Jewelry Company M. Eisenstadt Jewelry Company is from St. Louis, Missouri. This mark was found on a souvenir spoon. They were also manufacturers and retailers of jewelry.

Elgin-American Manufacturing Company. The Elgin-American Manufacturing Company first started in business in 1887 in Elgin, Illinois. They were manufacturers of silver plate flatware and hollowware. This mark came from a flask.

Elgin Silversmith Co., Inc. Elgin Silversmith Co., Inc. is located in New York, NY. Manufacturers of sterling hollowware. This mark is from a pair of sterling candlesticks with a weighted bottom.

Ellmore Co. Ellmore Silver Co. was founded in 1935 in Meriden, CT. Around 1940 they purchased the Frank M. Whiting Company, Concord Silversmiths, G.H. French & Co. and W. & S. Blackinton & Co. They continued using the dies for at least one Frank Whiting pattern, but used the Ellmore hallmark shown here on the right. In a 1951 ad in Trademarks of the Jewelry and Kindred Trades, it says that their hollowware, flatware and novelties are made exclusively with sterling. They did produce silver plate with the W. & S. Blackington mark.
