Albert Abrecht is listed in the 1915 edition of Trademarks of the Jewelry and Kindred Trade as being in business at 38 Crawford Street in Newark, New Jersey. This company also used the names Abrecht & Company and Abrecht & Sulsberger. They were manufacturers of sterling and silver plate wares in addition to jewelry. |

The Adelphi Silver Plate Co. worked out of New York City around the turn of the century. The company is listed in the 1915 edition of Trademarks of the Jewelry and kindred trades as being manufacturers of sterling and silver plated wares, but out of business by 1915. |

| Allan Adler was a California silversmith married to the daughter of Porter Blanchard, another California silversmith. Adler was known for making flatware, hollowware and jewelry. Most if not all of the silver was handmade. For more information see the Nov/Dec 1998 issue of Silver Magazine.

These are the marks of the Alvin Corporation, owned by the Gorham Mfg. Co. since 1928. The top two marks are the oldest of the three marks. The company earlier went by the name Alvin Manufacturing Company and were manufacturers of sterling silver flatware, hollowware and toiletware. The bottom mark was found on a flatware pattern patented in 1932. |

| The American Souvenir Company - This mark was found on a sterling silver souvenir spoon for the Pan American Exposition of 1901. This spoon featured a buffalo and an American Indian on the handle. The spoon also had the hallmark for Joseph Seymour & CO.

The Attleboro Chain Co. was located in Attleboro, MA and is listed in the 1915 edition of Trademarks of the Jewelry and kindred Trades as being a manufacturer of sterling toilet ware. Presumably they also made chains in sterling silver and perhaps gold. By 1915, this mark had been discontinued. |

James Avery Craftsman has been making gold and silver jewelry in Kerrville, Texas since 1954. |
